Central Bobcats Race to Big Halftime Lead Over Belton

SAN ANGELO, TX — Led by a stifling defense, the Central Bobcats have a commanding 26-0 lead at halftime over Belton at San Angelo Stadium on Friday, Sept. 20, 2024. Central's defense has allowed one first down so far, and the Bobcats have forced two turnovers, interceptions by Gabriel Rodriguez and Zayden Norton. Central's offense has been led by wide receiver Jimmy Edwards, who ran for the first score on a 4-yard touchdown run then hauled in a 29-yard TD pass from Christian English.
