Federal Judge Dismisses Trump Classified Documents Case
WEST PALM BEACH, FLORIDA — A federal judge tossed out the criminal classified documents case against Donald Trump, ruling that the appointment of special counsel Jack Smith violated the appointments clause of the Constitution.
Odessa Man Dies After Being Run Over by His Own Vehicle
ODESSA, TX — A 41-year-old Odessa man was killed after being run over by his own vehicle at a Sonic Drive-In, according to Odessa Police. According to information, Joshua Lujan, the only occupant of a black Chevrolet pickup, was parked at the Sonic located at 87th and Andrews Highway. At some point the victim exited his vehicle, the truck began to roll backwards and the victim was run over. Lujan was transported by private vehicle to Medical Center Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased. His next of kin has been notified. Learn More Here.
Aggravated Assault and Assault Family Violence Top Booking Report
SAN ANGELO, TX - Corrections Officers at the Tom Green County Jail report that 6 individuals have been booked on charges ranging from aggravated assault with a deadly weapon to criminal trespass. There are currently 470 individuals booked in the Tom Green County Jail.
Manhunt for a Man and Woman on South US 87
SAN ANGELO, TX — San Angelo police are conducting a manhunt for a couple on US 87 south near Abbot Lane. Tom Green County Sheriff’s deputies are at the scene as well. Police said they are searching for a young black male wearing a white tank top with two bags that are possibly luggage. He is with a Hispanic woman with black hair wearing a baby blue tank top with hot pink shorts. The woman was described as wearing her hair in a bun. Border Patrol Drone Crash Lands While Inbound to Mathis Field
SAN ANGELO, TX — A Customs and Border Protection (CBP) MQ-9 UAS (Unmanned Aerial System) — or drone — crash-landed south of Goodfellow Air Force Base off South Gas Plant Road at around 3 p.m. Sunday, July 14, 2024. The MQ-9 operation is based at San Angelo’s Mathis Field, the municipal airport.
Splash Pad Closed Due to Technical Issues
SAN ANGELO, TX — The All-Tex Irrigation Splash Pad at Unidad Park will be closed today due to technical issues with the sensors, according to the City of San Angelo. The splash pad will also be closed from Monday, July 15, through Wednesday, July 17, for “final dirt work cleanup.” Learn More Here.
