Sheriff: Man Arrested in Manhunt Wanted for Murder
SAN ANGELO, TX — The quiet evening of Sunday, July 14, was shattered by the sound of gunfire along South US Highway 87. At approximately 7 p.m., authorities from the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office, San Angelo Police Department, and Texas Department of Public Safety responded to the scene where a gunshot victim lay injured. Sheriff Apprehends Armed and Dangerous Shooters
UPDATE 3:55 p.m. - An eyewitness told us that late yesterday evening when driving in to San Angelo, they saw a man between the northbound and southbound lanes in the median of south US 87. He looked like he was waving for help, the witness who asked not to be identified said. The man was standing in the median at around the 800 block of US 87 near the intersection with Abbott Lane. "We passed him and made a u-turn as soon as we could," the witness said. Learn More Here.
