SAN ANGELO, TX— The City of San Angelo has announced that the Unidad Park Splash Pad is reopening today. According to a Facebook post by the City of San Angelo, the Unidad Park Splash Pad will reopen today from noon until 8 p.m. and will be reopened daily from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Perv Agrees to Plea Deal for Lewd Abuse of Child
SAN ANGELO, TX— A San Angelo man has agreed to a plea deal after inappropriately touching a child. Dimitrius Sewell, 26, has agreed to take a plea deal for one count of indecency with a child by sexual contact and one count of unlawful restraint of a child less than 17 years of age. According to court documents, on October 8, 2021, a complainant reported to an officer that a child had contacted them through social media and made an outcry of being sexually abused by Sewell. Junior Catfishing Tournament at the Concho River this Weekend
SAN ANGELO, TX — The Concho Valley Catfishing Club will host a junior angler fishing derby on Saturday, July 20, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. at the Concho River near the Art Museum in downtown San Angelo.
Angelo State Basketball Adds Talented Guard to Roster
SAN ANGELO, TX — Angelo State men's basketball head coach Vinay Patel announced on Friday, July 19, the addition of Phil Dotson, a combo guard from Memphis, Tennessee, as the team's third transfer of the summer. Dotson, a guard listed at 6'0", joins Angelo State from Division III Rhodes College. Last season, he averaged 22.3 points and 4.3 assists per game while shooting 36 percent from behind the arc. He scored a career-high 44 points on 17-of-34 shooting against Oglethorpe on February 4 last season. Learn More Here.

SAN ANGELO, TX — A massive technology outage has grounded flights, derailed emergency services and knocked banks offline around the world. The ripple waves from the IT glitch, caused by a faulty update to computers running Microsoft Windows, are being felt in San Angelo as well. Indecency with a Child and Assault with a Deadly Weapon Top Booking Report
SAN ANGELO, TX - Corrections Officers at the Tom Green County Jail report that 14 individuals have been booked on charges ranging from indecency with a child sexual contact to tampering with physical evidence. There are currently 454 individuals booked in the Tom Green County Jail.
