Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office and DPS conduct major drug arrest in San Angelo

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) —On Thursday, June 20, 2024, a joint operation by the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety Criminal Investigations Division (DPS-CID) led to a significant drug bust in San Angelo.

Investigators arrested Freddrick Lewis, 46, after discovering 1.5 pounds of marijuana, nearly two ounces of suspected methamphetamine, and a large amount of U.S. currency.

Lewis faces charges of Manufacture/Delivery of a Controlled Substance PG1 >=4G<200G (F1) and Possession of Marijuana >4OZ<=5LBS (FS). He was booked into the Tom Green County Detention Facility.

The operation saw collaboration from Deputies with the Patrol Division and Texas DPS Highway Patrol Division. The Sheriff’s Office expressed gratitude to the public for their support and information, which are crucial in the ongoing efforts to combat drugs and crime in San Angelo and Tom Green County.
