    152 kids compete in Kid’s Cat Fishing Derby

    SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) —Over 150 young anglers showcased their skills at the annual Kid’s Cat Fishing Derby hosted by the Concho Valley Catfishing Club on July 20.

    Children from the Concho Valley participated in the event, competing for a share of $1,500 in prize money and numerous giveaways. Additionally, 110 anglers were able to keep their fishing poles.

    The derby, held by the Bill Aylor Sr. Memorial River Stage, featured a range of age categories from 12 and under. Families and volunteers cheered on the young anglers throughout the event
