Concho Valley gears up for Melon Fest

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — According to a social media post , The Concho Valley Farmer’s Market is gearing up for their celebration of prime melon season with their annual Melon Fest taking place on Saturday, July 27, at 609 South Oaks Street.

Local vendors like Schwartz Boys Produce & Meats and Three River Farms are expected to display their variety of fresh melons. From classic red and tangy orange watermelons to the popular seedless varieties.

For those unable to attend, the celebration of the prime melon season will continue throughout the season at the Concho Valley Farmer’s Market, held every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday until October.
