Unidad splash pad ribbon-cutting this week

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) —The City of San Angelo and All-Tex Irrigation & Supply are gearing up for the new splash pad at Unidad Park ribbon-cutting ceremony on Thursday, July 25 at 10 a.m.

According to a social media post shared by the City of San Angelo, attendees can expect recognition from the leaders and donors essential to making the splash pad a reality during the event.

Located at 3245 Vista Del Arroyo Dr, the splash pad was able to become a reality through community efforts, raising over $800,00 from donations and grants.

Safety guidelines include supervision requirements for children, swim attire mandates, and precautions for bad weather, according to a press release from the City of San Angelo. Prohibited items and activities at the splash pad include bicycles, open grills, pets, and glass containers.
