    Cyclist collides with car on South Abe Street

    SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) — San Angelo Police Department officers responded to the intersection of West Twohig Avenue and South Abe Street during the late afternoon hours of July 25 in relation to a crash between a cyclist and a vehicle.

    According to an SAPD officer at the scene, law enforcement was dispatched to the intersection of the two roads in reference to a motor vehicle accident. Arriving in the area, the officers learned that a cyclist traveling westbound on Twohig Avenue failed to yield the right of way while on a sidewalk to the driver of a green Kia Soul, colliding with the rear passenger side of the vehicle as a result.

    The cyclist was transported to Shannon Medical Center for non-incapacitating injuries. No citations have been issued as of the time of publication.
