San Angelo ISD announces enrollment support and back-to-school events

SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) —San Angelo ISD hosted an enrollment support event for the 2024-2025 school year on July 25 and will host another on July 30 at the SAISD Administration Building.

The district’s new executive director of communications, Shannon Schwartz, a native of San Angelo with a background from Lubbock ISD and Texas Tech University, will be on hand to assist.

On July 25, registration was held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m., and on July 30, staff will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. to help new and returning students with enrollment, including pre-K and bilingual programs.

New students, including pre-K and kindergarten, should bring proof of residence, a social security card, a birth certificate, an immunization record, and withdrawal paperwork from previous schools attended. Returning students will only need proof of residence and an immunization record.

Additionally, SAISD will host a San Angelo Reads! United We read back-to-school pop-up event on August 2, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
