SAN ANGELO, Texas ( Concho Valley Homepage ) —While the Texas heat continued to blaze, all participating Dairy Queen locations in the Concho Valley and surrounding areas donated $1 from every Blizzard sold to the Children’s Miracle Network at Shannon Medical Center on July 25.

“All of the funds that are raised through Children’s Miracle Network go back to Shannon 100%,” said Hope Baron, marketing coordinator for Children’s Miracle Network.” So if they need therapy programs if there’s equipment that needs to take care of them our staff is trying to make sure that they know what to do when they come in and the children’s miracle network provides all of that.”

The money raised will support families in need of children’s medical care.

The annual Children’s Miracle Network telethon will broadcast live on KLST-TV on Saturday, Aug. 17, starting at 6:30 p.m.
