Burger King Is Expanding its San Antonio Footprint

According to a recently submitted permit application, Burger King is expanding in San Antonio.

The international chain is planning to debut a new outpost at 18030 Wurzbach Parkway , near establishments such as Babe’s Old Fashioned Food, DeeWillie’s BBQ, and Dutch Bros Coffee.

What Now San Antonio reached out to Ali Sutaria , the franchisee behind the location — as well as an outpost in Floresville that was constructed in 2021, according to Wilson County News — but he could not provide additional information before publication.

Nevertheless, the filing shares that the “construction of new stand-alone fast-food restaurant” is scheduled to begin on July 1, 2024, and finish on July 1, 2025. For an estimated $100,000, local firm ZDA Architecture will carry out the project.
