Reacting to Chris Paul signing with the San Antonio Spurs

Fans of the San Antonio Spurs were already excited about the direction their favorite team was taking after the 2024 NBA draft. After adding University of Connecticut guard Stephon Castle, Ratiopharm Ulm guard Juan Nunez, and University of North Carolina forward Harrison Ingram, the Spurs looked poised to move towards a winning record.

Now, after adding former Golden State Warriors star floor general Chris Paul via free agency, this team might be a play-in tournament or even playoff ball club. While acknowledging the latter is unlikely in the league’s Western Conference, it is still fair to get excited about the possibilities of this team with CP3 in the fold.

And that is exactly what the host of the “Locked On Spurs” podcast, Jeff Garcia, did with guest Rudy Campos of the “Sweep the League” podcast after news broke of the Paul signing. Take a look at the clip embedded below to hear what they had to say about CP3 as a Spur.
