Pismo Beach police catch wanted suspect with gun, drugs in stolen vehicle
Pismo Beach police officers on Saturday caught a wanted suspect with a gun and drugs inside a stolen vehicle. Officers headed to the 800 block of N. Oak Park Boulevard to check on the welfare of an individual who appeared to be passed out in their vehicle. Upon arrival, officers quickly spotted a firearm inside the car and ordered the person to exit, according to the Pismo Beach Police Department.

Vandals paint graffiti on sheriff’s Nipomo station
A vandal or vandals painted graffiti on the San Luis Obispo County Sheriff’s Office Nipomo Report Center building on Thursday night. Sheriff’s officials are searching for those responsible for what they describe as offensive graffiti. A photo of the graffiti shows the word “pigs” painted on one window of the Nipomo center and blurred out words on another window.

2-year-old killed in Salinas hit-and-run crash, suspect vehicle found
SALINAS, Calif. — Salinas police told KSBW 8 said they have found a vehicle believed to be involved in a hit-and-run that killed a 2-year-old on Friday evening. Police said they were called to the intersection of East Alisal Street and Wood Street at 6:30 p.m. When officers arrived at the scene they found an adult suffering from significant injuries and the two-year-old was pronounced dead on the scene.
