Police break up illegal gambling operation in backyard of San Bernardino home

Officers from the San Bernardino Police Department made an unexpected discovery when responding to a report of a fight at a residence.
Officers were dispatched to a home within the city after receiving reports of a fight involving several people, some of whom were armed with knives.
Video of the bust was posted on social media ; police did not say when or where the call took place.
Responding officers detained five people believed to be involved in the alleged fight, which led them into the backyard of the home where an illegal gambling operation had been set up.

After the discovery of the illegal gambling equipment, officers entered the main residence and detained two more people.
During that search, police discovered two shotguns, two rifles, two handguns, body armor, ammunition, methamphetamine and a large amount of cash.
Of the seven people who were detained, only one was arrested, while several others were cited and released, police said.
