Little Miss Brewing Expanding into Kearny Mesa

Little Miss Brewing , a local brewery found throughout San Diego, is getting ready to open a new location in Kearny Mesa at 8199 Clairemont Mesa Boulevard, Site 3.

The company’s newest location will move into the end of the Kearny Plaza next to Bull Pen Sports Bar in the former home of Angel Massage, according to a marketing brochure from Loopnet . There is no exact opening date for the new site, but the company’s lease is set to begin this month, according to intel received by What Now Media Group. This will be the company’s 10th brick-and-mortar, with a tasting room inside the San Diego History Center in Balboa Park.

This is a massive achievement for owners Greg and Jade Malkin , who launched the company in Miramar in 2016. The duo has expanded the brewery throughout San Diego since then, but the husband and wife team has been met with some pushback at times. After investing substantial funds into a new tasting room in Ocean Beach, the company decided to abandon plans after the protective beachside community was opposed to more breweries moving into the neighborhood.

Now, the Malkins continue to add new locations throughout San Diego County, with sites already in downtown’s East Village, Normal Heights, Eastlake, La Mesa, Escondido, Lakeside, Poway, its brewing headquarters in Miramar, and, most recently, Logan Heights. The company’s newest location will sit on the other side of Daiso, which will soon have a new next-door neighbor, considering a 2,250-square-foot space is available in the strip mall.
