Better Buzz Coffee Roasters , the San Diego-based coffee chain that has been slowly expanding away from the city, is planning on opening two more locations this year in San Diego .

The company already owns several locations throughout San Diego, with a handful of sites in Las Vegas, Phoenix, and other parts of California. Despite expanding the brand away from its home state, the company continues to invest in San Diego. In addition to the previously announced Oceanside site replacing Angelo’s Burgers, Better Buzz is also opening sites at Monte Mar Street and East Vista Way in Vista and 1435 Camino Del Mar in Del Mar , according to SanDiegoVille . Both are scheduled to open in 2024 .

Co-founders Tim Langdon and Stephanie Garden launched the beloved coffee shop as a coffee cart in 2002 while the two were still in college. Eventually, the two opened the company’s first brick-and-mortar in Pacific Beach at 1909 Garrnet Avenue five years later. Since then, the duo has expanded Better Buzz throughout Southern California with locations in Point Loma, Hillcrest, Mission Beach, Encinitas, Escondido, Coronado, San Marcos, La Jolla, Miramar, Mira Mesa, Temecula, San Clemente, Carlsbad, Bonita, La Mesa, and more.

When the new Vista and Del Mar locations open later this year, customers can expect a variety of delicious coffee and drink options that have helped explode the popularity of this brand. While each location offers a unique menu to match the area, Better Buzz typically has something for everyone, ranging from freshly brewed small-batch coffees and handcrafted lattes to breakfast sandwiches and acai bowls. Whether you’re getting the “Best Drink Ever” or one of their delicious avocado toasts, all food and drinks are crafted with care and intention.
