CoCo Playa, a New Beach Themed Drive-Thru in Point Loma, to Host Grand Opening on June 1

A taste of the beach is coming soon to Point Loma, with the official grand opening of CoCo Playa on Saturday, June 1 at 9 a.m., where the first 50 drive-thru customers on grand opening day will receive a free medium beverage.

CoCo Playa is revolutionizing the industry with its up-beat atmosphere, speedy service, and premium beverages and cookies. The CoCo Playa experience will include personalized interactions with the “CoCo-Ristas” to create drinks from a broad range of customizable coffee beverages, infused energy and soft drinks, and freshly baked cookies.

Highlights of the menu include:

• La Jolla , a Caramel and Vanilla Breve
• Newport , an Almond Roca Coconut Mocha
• One & Only , a Tuxedo Mocha Cold Brew (White & Dark Chocolate)
• Beach, Please , a Dr Pepper with Cherry and Vanilla Crème
• Johnny Tsunami , Sparkling Water, Tea, Lemonade or Red Bull with Blue Raz and Peach
• Mango Tango , Sparkling Water, Tea, Lemonade or Red Bull with Mango Purèe and Strawberry
• Blue Playa Cookie , Browned Butter Cookie Base Stuffed with Two Full Cookies, Milk Chocolate and White Chocolate Chips

CoCo Playa’s location at the busy intersection of Kurtz Avenue and Camino del Rio W occupies a convenient location and offers a double drive-thru and a walk-up window.

The new drive-thru concept is the creation of an ownership group with deep experience in the restaurant space — Ryan and Jeoff Feghali and Johnny Baklini, along with George and Gabriel Chammas — who are already working on expansion plans for additional locations that will bring the CoCo Playa energy and happiness to more communities.
