Two San Diego-area casinos among ‘most luxurious’ in California: study

SAN DIEGO (FOX 5/KUSI) — Planning to hit the slots or try your hand at a card table soon? For San Diegans, you don’t have to go far for a luxurious casino experience.

According to a recent study by casino comparison site casinos.com , there are two casinos in the county area that are considered among the “most luxurious” in all of California.

When narrowing down the top establishments, researchers with the site combed through TripAdvisor reviews, looking for words like “luxury,” “delightful” and “comfortable.” Their rankings were based on how many times those words appeared.

Each casino received a rating on casinos.com’s” “Luxury Scale,” with two moderately local spots making the top 10.

Ranking No. 7 on the list was Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula. It’s located on the border of the county, slightly northeast of Rainbow.

Ranking slightly higher at No. 8 was Harrah’s Resort Southern California . This casino can be found in Valley Center.
