    New The Penguin Poster Previews Colin Farrell’s Dark Batman Spin-off Series

    A new poster for The Penguin has been released.

    The Penguin is the upcoming series starring Colin Farrell that serves as a spin-off to 2022’s The Batman . The series will premiere on HBO and Max this coming September.

    The Penguin is coming to San Diego Comic-Con this coming July. In addition to hosting a Hall H panel with the cast and executive producers of the series, a new trailer for The Penguin will be unveiled.

    “We are incredibly excited to tap into the rich and passionate fanbase in San Diego this year by introducing them to our new series, The Penguin,” said HBO and Max’s Pia Barlow. “With our in-world activations, fans will have the chance to engross themselves in the underground world of Oz Cobbs’s Gotham, picking up where we left off in Matt Reeves’ ‘The Batman,’ as we look to generate excitement for the series premiering this September.”

    Additionally, San Diego’s Bloom Nightclub will be transformed into Gotham’s Iceberg Lounge on July 26 and 27. The immersive experience will be filled with special effects, exclusive giveaways, and more. More details can be found by clicking here .

    Who else stars in The Penguin with Colin Farrell?

    Along with Farrell, The Penguin stars Cristin Milioti, Rhenzy Feliz, Michael Kelly, Clancy Brown, Shohreh Aghdashloo, Deirdre O’Connell, James Madio, Scott Cohen, Michael Zegen, Theo Rossi, Carmen Ejogo, Mark Strong, and more.

    The series was created by Lauren LeFranc, while Craig Zobel directs the first three episodes of the eight-episode series. The Penguin is set after the events of The Batman and will see Oswald attempt to take control of Gotham City’s criminal underworld.

    The Penguin will premiere on HBO and Max on September 19, 2024.
