The San Diego Legion will begin the first round of the playoffs on the road Sunday at 6:00 p.m. in Seattle versus the Seawolves. The game will be broadcast on FS2.

San Diego is the #3 seed, and Seattle is the #2 seed.

The winner will play in the Western Conference final on July 28 at 1:00 p.m. on FS1

The two teams have faced off in the postseason multiple times, with the most recent playoff meeting coming last season in the conference final, where San Diego beat Seattle 32-10.

The Legion ended the regular season on a two-game win streak, beating the Houston Sabercats 37-24, followed by besting the Seawolves in San Diego 45-33.

Meanwhile, Seattle did not end the season on a high note, losing three games in a row to close out the regular season.

San Diego is looking to finish what they couldn’t last season. The Legion lost in the Championship Final last season 25-24 to the New England Free Jacks. This was the second Championship Finals loss.

Seattle was most recently in the Championship Final during the 2022 season, where it lost to Rugby New York 30-15.

Tickets for Sunday’s playoff game are available and starting as low as $40 before fees.

The Major League Rugby championship will be held at Snapdragon Stadium in San Diego on August 4 at 1:00 p.m.
