Andrew Wiggins will miss the second-straight game due to a personal matter. Given that he missed the final 25 games of the regular season last year with a personal matter, there is concern that this may be a similar situation.

Head coach Steve Kerr joined Willard and Dibs Wednesday and indicated that he expected Wiggins to return this season, but did not provide clarity on when that could be.

Anthony Slater joined The Morning Roast Thursday and explained how Wiggins' absence could affect the entire future of the roster and its construction.

Slater said Wiggins' absence, and the affect it has on the Warriors' performance down the stretch, could be meaningful in determining what the roster looks like next season.

"Certainly, I think everything affects it," Slater said. "I think Wiggins having a really strong finish to the season and the Warriors going a few rounds into the playoffs would not just keep Wiggins' future intact, but a lot of this core's future intact, Klay Thompson. Whereas, if they flame out, if they get bounced in the play-in, if Wiggins either isn't around or doesn't play well over the last 20 or so games and in the play-in, they'll reassess the roster from a financial standpoint and from a competitive standpoint.

So, in a roundabout way, like it's everyone's future in some ways, is kind of on the line. Like I'm not sitting here saying, hey, if they get bounced from the playoffs, Steph Curry is gone. We all know that's not the case, but a lot is on the line over the last few months."
