Draymond Green on ejection: 'I deserved to get kicked out'

The Warriors had one of their most consequential wins of the season Wednesday, no thanks to Draymond Green. The forward got himself ejected for the fourth time this season, courtesy of his ninth and 10th technical fouls inside the first four minutes of the Warriors' 121-113 win over the Orlando Magic.

Green took to his podcast Thursday morning to discuss his ejection.

"I said what I said. I deserved to be kicked out at that point..." Green said. "It just can’t happen. We need to win games. Not gonna overreact... Stuff is never as good as it seems, it's never as bad as it seems. I know where I am. I understand what I'm doing moving forward and in my position, just make sure that that’s the exception and not the rule.”

Green and the Warriors have little time to dwell on his ejection. They remain a game up on the Houston Rockets (who have won 10-straight games) for the 10th seed, with 10 games remaining. They'll face the San Antonio Spurs on the road Friday night, and face the Rockets in Houston four games from now.
