System of a Down, Deftones, and more will take over Golden Gate Park this summer

Coming this summer, System of a Down , Deftones , The Mars Volta , and more will light up San Francisco’s Golden Gate Park for an historic first-ever after-dark concert.

The groundbreaking outdoor live music experience, produced by Another Planet Entertainment in association with Live Nation for the City of San Francisco, will take place on Saturday, August 17 from 3PM to 10PM in Golden Gate Park’s Polo Field, featuring headliners System Of A Down and Deftones . Joining them for the occasion will be The Mars Volta , Viagra Boys , and VOWWS . This is SOAD's only other scheduled appearance this year besides Sick New World in Las Vegas happening on April 27.

Allen Scott , President of Concerts and Festivals at Another Planet Entertainment says, "We are expecting fans from not just the Bay Area but from across the US and internationally to travel to the city injecting money into the local economy. From hotels to local restaurants and everything in between, this will be a great night of music and a great economic boost for the city."

Tickets , including GA and VIP packages, will be available beginning with artist presales starting on Wednesday, April 10 at 10AM PT. General on-sale kicks off on Friday, April 12 at 10AM PT. Prices range from $169 to $399.
