The Warriors have to make a move, or moves this offseason, if they're going to compete for a title. That much has been clear. But how big of a move do they need? And could a Kevin Durant return make sense?

Willard and Dibs had on NBC Sports Monte Poole on to discuss the potential of a return to Golden State. Durant is entering the second-to-last year of a four-year, $194 million deal that will have a $51.18 million cap hit next season and $54.7 million cap hit the following season, at ages 36 and 37, respectively.

Poole believes that if Durant and the Suns have interest in getting a deal done, there's an avenue to getting it done. That's because he believes the Warriors already have interest.

    What would that look like?

"Well, they gotta start with Andrew [Wiggins] and Jonathan Kuminga," Poole said. "That's where it starts. I mean, you gotta keep going. That's where it gets tricky. Well, what about Chris Paul? Well, Chris Paul can't be traded right now. His contract has to be guaranteed before they can trade him. And so that is something that they got to figure out if they want to do that. So they got to figure out what they want to do about Klay Thompson. So there's some other things that are in play here to figure this out."

There are complications to overcome, but Poole reiterated that if there's mutual interest, it can get done.

"But if there's a will to get it done, and if Kevin wants it done and the Warriors want it done, I think there is a way to do it," Poole said. So the question is whether both sides want to do it, whether he wants to, whether the Suns are willing. Because I'm pretty sure the Warriors would be willing to dive right in on that based on everything I've seen and heard, not just in the past few days, but really, almost since Kevin left.

"I mean, Joe Lacob never wanted him to leave. And so I believe that yeah, they can package a deal that would have to include Kuminga, because he's young, 21 years old, and you see the upside there. But you have to go start with there and keep going from there."

Listen to the full interview above. Poole addressed where Durant's relationship with Draymond Green, Steph Curry and Steve Kerr stands.
