The Warriors had themselves an outstanding draft this past year. Brandin Podziemski and Trayce Jackson-Davis became crucial pieces of the puzzle last season, on a team that often makes it tough for young guys to break in.

But Podziemski was a crucial part of the backcourt, and Jackson-Davis grew into a monstrously important rim-rolling and shot-blocking presence for Golden State.

Podziemski, who had 9.2 points, 5.8 rebounds and 3.7 assists in 26.6 minutes per game notched the final spot on the All-Rookie First Team Monday morning. He received 64 first-team votes (worth two points) and 33 second-team votes (worth one point), beating out Dereck Lively II by 52 points.

Jackson-Davis, meanwhile, was beat out by Memphis' GG Jackson by exactly one point. Jackson received five first-team votes and 33 second-team votes for 43 points. Jackson-Davis received 42 second-team votes, and was the first player to miss the list. He averaged 7.9 points, 5.0 rebounds and 1.1 blocks in 16.6 minutes per game.

Podziemski becomes the 19th player in franchise history to make an All-Rookie First Team, and the first since Eric Paschall in 2020 (preceded by Harrison Barnes, Klay Thompson and Steph Curry).
