• That includes 26 time zone changes, which could contribute to players feeling the effects of jet lag.

What to watch: The 49ers also got the short end of the stick when it comes to its "rest differential" — the amount of rest players get in between games compared to its opponents, according to ESPN reporter Brian Burke .

• The Niners will have the third-worst rest differential since 2002, but the team did just fine with its limited rest last season, when they made the Super Bowl.
