The Warriors have a new two-way player. On second day of the first two-day NBA Draft, Golden State picked up a pair of ACC studs. After trading cash to reclaim the 52nd overall pick (that they had earlier traded to the Thunder for Lindy Waters III), they picked up Boston College big man Quinten Post.

With the Draft's conclusion, Shams Charania reports that the Warriors have signed former Virginia guard Reece Beekman to a two-way deal.

Beekman, a 6-foot, 3-inch guard, averaged 14.3 points, 6.2 assists and 3.6 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game.

He won the ACC's Defensive Player of the Year in back-to-back seasons, anchoring what was the third-ranked defense in the country. He became the third ACC player ever and second since John Henson to achieve that.

With Chris Paul potentially waived or traded, and Brandin Podziemski more of a combo guard than a traditional point guard, Beekman could have an opportunity with the second unit if he shows well over the summer.
