Liam's List: San Francisco Beacon of Love Pride Parade and “Mrs. Doubtfire” at the Orpheum

FOODIE FEATURE: CHEF MARK DOMMEN, ONE MARKET SAN FRANCISCO
This iconic restaurant at the foot of Market Street with Chef Mark Dommen at the helm has the Pride flag flying all year round, but this month of June there are some special items on the One Market menu.
- Harvey Milkshake: Inspired by the late great Harvey Milk.
- Rainbow Latke: As good and as lucious a latke you will ever devour with salmon lox, avocado and salmon roe on top.
One Market is open for lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner Monday through Friday from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thanks Chef Dommen and the amazing One Market team for always flying the Pride flag.

PRIDE: PARADE & PARTY
The biggest Pride party on the planet starts Sunday at 10:30 a.m. at the foot of Market Street in San Francisco. The Beacon of Love Pride Parade is followed by a massive stage show and party at Civic Center. The headliner is the star of the stage and screen, Billy Porter. Happy Pride, one and all.

MUSIC: STERN GROVE
Enjoy a double dose of Pride music on Sunday at 2 p.m. with Chicano Batman and Lido Pimienta at 19th and Sloat among the redwoods at Stern Grove .

THEATRE: MRS.DOUBTFIRE
“Mrs. Doubtfire” tells the hysterical and heartfelt story of an out-of-work actor who will do anything for his kids. It’s “the lovable, big-hearted musical comedy we need right now,” raves the Chicago Tribune – one that proves we’re better together. The show plays from Tuesday, July 2 at the Orpheum in San Francisco.

BAR: WHITE HORSE, OAKLAND
Daily 5pm - close
The oldest gay bar in the Bay Area is inviting you to get your Pride on this weekend and indeed every day and weekend of the year. The drinks are stiff, the conversation free and the welcome is always warm at the White Horse on Telegraph in Oakland. It’s open daily from 5 p.m. to close.
