Klay Thompson’s career as a Warrior appears to be over .

Now, one of the top players on the free agent market has a decision to make.

ESPN reported that Thompson is planning to talk with the Lakers, Mavericks, Clippers and 76ers.

Thompson and the Warriors could never get on the same page on a contract extension, with The Athletic reporting that Thompson’s side felt “that the Warriors’ interest in a reunion has been disingenuous.”

Paul George’s contract talks with Clippers had ‘significant’ gap in NBA free agency

The 34-year-old sharpshooter has lost a step and is coming off meager production — for him, at least — of 17.9 points per game, his fewest since his second year in the league.

The 6-foot-6 Thompson is still a high-level shooter — he hit 38.7 percent of his attempts from 3-point range last season — and could obviously help a contender.

The Lakers and Mavericks can offer Thompson the $12.9 million midlevel exception.

LeBron James is said to be willing to take less than the max to facilitate such a move.

The Warriors are also reportedly open to working out a sign-and-trade.

Whoever loses out in the Paul George sweepstakes, whether it is the 76ers or Clippers, could then factor in heavily with Thompson.

Either way, Thompson’s time with Golden State is likely over.

He won four championship rings, part of one of the great shooting backcourts of all time with Stephen Curry.

He is sixth all time on the NBA 3-pointers list, trailing only Curry, Ray Allen, James Harden, Damian Lillard and Reggie Miller.

He also owns the record for most made 3-pointers in a single game with 14.
