Dumas: Klay's antics 'equally exhausting' as Draymond's behind the scenes

Klay Thompson is heading to the Dallas Mavericks on what ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski reports is a three-year, $50 million deal.

The Warriors will receive a reported $16 million trade exception, along with 2025 (least favorable between Nuggets and Sixers) and 2031 (Mavericks) second-round picks.

In discussing where things went wrong for Thompson and the Warriors on 95.7 The Game's Crossover, Jason Dumas suggested that Thompson was particularly difficult behind the scenes.

"I know Draymond has punched people and got himself suspended on the court, but Gu, I'm telling you this," Dumas said. "Klay has been equally as exhausting behind the scenes. It's not as loud because it's not you stomping on someone, or it's not you turning around -- so if he's slamming stuff on the bench and sulking and doing that on the court, how do you think it is in practice? How do you think it is in the locker room? It has been uncomfortable, it has. It just doesn't come out as loudly as Draymond Green."

This came after a discussion about Stephen Curry going to bat for Green. Thompson, meanwhile, walked. It begged the question whether Thompson's departure is one that Curry is okay with. The consensus is that yes, he was alright with Thompson leaving.
