The Warriors have concluded their haul from Klay Thompson's sign-and-trade to the Dallas Mavericks with a sign-and-trade of their own.

Per multiple reports, the Warriors have signed former Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kyle Anderson on a three-year, $27 million deal. Per ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski , the deal has a nonguaranteed third year. The Warriors will send a future second-round pick swap and cash in the deal.

In order to complete the deal, the Warriors used the traded player exception they acquired in the Thompson sign-and-trade. In sum, the Thompson sign-and-trade netted the Warriors Anderson and two second-round picks. They lost Thompson, a second-round pick swap and cash.

Anderson, 30, is a versatile forward who offers defensive acumen and playmaking, especially off screens from the high post. In 22.6 minutes per game with Minnesota, he averaged 6.4 points, 4.2 assists, 3.9 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 0.6 blocks per game. He shot a woeful, career-low 22.9 percent from deep, but shot a career-high 41 percent the year before.

It's not exactly a thrilling move for Golden State, but it nets them a capable, veteran player they can use in a variety of ways, especially on defense.
