The Philadelphia 76ers made a big deal at the deadline to acquire Buddy Hield from the Indiana Pacers in an effort to boost their playoff chances. The sharpshooter out of Oklahoma shot 38.9% from deep in 32 games with the Sixers, but his production was up and down.

Hield seemed to have a tough time adjusting to Joel Embiid when the big fella returned from injury and he had a tough playoff series against the New York Knicks. He was struggling through the first three games of the series before not playing in Games 4 and 5 and then scoring 20 points in the Game 6 elimination loss.

Now, Hield appears headed to the Golden State Warriors. The free agent guard looks like he will agree to a deal with the Warriors and the Sixers are in deep discussions on a sign-and-trade deal with Golden State.

The Warriors lost Klay Thompson to the Dallas Mavericks in free agency so to replace him, they will look to Hield. He is an elite shooter who will likely be a good fit next to Stephen Curry.
