According to a recently submitted permit application, Bay Area-based nonprofit The City Eats plans on opening a new dining location in San Francisco’s Pacific Heights neighborhood.

Coming to 1608 Bush Street , the restaurant will land near establishments such as Haraz Coffee House, Limoncello, and Wheel Works Tire Shop.

For readers who are unfamiliar with The City Eats, it offers a brief introduction on its website : “The City Eats is an organization that is dedicated to unifying communities through the purpose of eradicating hunger and providing resources amongst the unhoused and low-income individuals across the world.”

The statement continues, “They prepare and distribute healthy balanced meals personally- with love, care, and compassion on a weekly basis. The City Eats’ vision is to create a world without food insecurity by ensuring communities across the nation and worldwide have access to food.”

What Now San Francisco reached out to one of the nonprofit’s organizers, Cat Montes , to inquire about the upcoming location, but she could not provide additional information before publication.
