Ike's Love and Sandwiches opens 100th store in San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – A popular Bay Area sandwich shop has hit a milestone with the opening of its 100th store. Ike’s Love & Sandwiches is opening its third location in San Francisco on Friday.

According to Ike's, this new store will serve as the chain's new flagship store.

The newest flagship store will include fan-favorite sandwiches, such as the Elvis Keith and Handsome Owl, along with six new sandwiches: Ike’s Red Hot Soaring Sausage, Buddy’s Fave, Will The Thrill, Paradise Found, Hollywould’s Surf & Turf and the Waikiki.

The new location is in the Mission Rock neighborhood. The sandwich shop will be located at 1090 Dr. Maya Angelou Lane, Unit G, which is within walking distance from Oracle Park.

The chain will celebrate with a grand opening at 10 a.m. on Friday. The first 100 guests will receive a free sandwich, an exclusive T-shirt and a chance to win free sandwiches for a year.
