Steph Curry Drops Emotional Admission Before Olympics Debut

Golden State Warriors superstar Steph Curry has pretty much done it all throughout what has been an iconic NBA career. The one thing he has missing in his trophy cabinet, however, is a gold medal from the Olympics.

Despite being one of the greatest players to ever pick up a basketball, the Paris Games is actually Curry's first time representing the United States in the Olympics. This fact has prompted an emotional admission from the four-time NBA champion just days before Team USA's opener against Serbia on Sunday.

"I've been imagining what [the Olympic experience] will feel like forever, really," Curry said. "This Games is my first time.

"I've seen these guys. [Kevin Durant]'s fourth time doing it. So just like, imagining the excitement of representing your country, being a part of the opening ceremony festivities."

This has been a long time coming for Curry, and the GOAT shooter himself has now revealed that this experience is something that he has been looking forward to for quite a while now.

According to the Warriors superstar, what fuels him up as well is the honor of having the opportunity to represent the Red, White, and Blue alongside some of the best athletes from the United States.

"To be with the other athletes that represent our country as well in all different sports and events, that's where you really get juiced," he said. "Knowing who you're representing your country with. Not just basketball but in everything else as well."

You just know that Steph is going to do everything in his power to bring home that gold medal.
