San Francisco – Stanford Health Care Patient Testing Technician Qiqiuia Young filed a 100-page lawsuit against Stanford University and Stanford Health Care alleging a series of acts of racial harassment and discrimination that began with her co-workers threatening to, and then dressing as the Ku Klux Klan at the Stanford Cancer Center and detailing multiple instances of the “n” word used in the workplace at Stanford Health Care.

Officials investigate Coggins Fire in La Honda

On July 12, firefighters responded to a fire in La Honda which engulfed a manufactured home, multiple outbuildings and three trailers, according to a Cal Fire social media post. JLL secures $43.8M financing for Courtyard San Jose Campbell
JLL Capital Markets has secured $43.8 million in bridge financing for the Courtyard San Jose Campbell, a 162-key hotel located in Campbell, CA, in Silicon Valley. JLL represented the borrower, an affiliate of Huntington Hotel Group, to secure a floating rate loan through Prime Finance with a term of up to five years including extensions. The JLL team has been involved with the project since its inception and arranged construction-to-permanent financing for the hotel in 2008. Proceeds of the refinance were used to retire that facility, as well as provide funds for the upcoming brand-mandated Property Improvement Plan (PIP).
