2 found dead in vehicle on Highway 99 offramp near Salida
SALIDA, Calif. — Two people were found dead inside a Honda Sunday near Salida in what officials believe is the result of a domestic violence situation. According to the California Highway Patrol, it happened around 6 p.m. Sunday when officers were called about a possible assault with a deadly weapon on the northbound Hammett Road offramp from Highway 99.

Four new players found homes, with Boise State, Fresno State, and UNLV each securing commits this week. On the offer front, there were only two, as coaches continue to prepare for the start of the season, meaning recruiting is taking a back seat.
Man shot and killed in southwest Fresno, police say
A man has died following a shooting in southwest Fresno on Sunday.It happened just before 9 pm on Modoc and Srother.Officers found a 22-year-old suffering from a gunshot wound.Police performed life-saving measures, but he was declared dead at the scene.Police are interviewing witnesses and asking residents in the area for any surveillance video of the scene.
