Nikolaj Ehlers and Cole Perfetti each scored twice. Neal Pionk and Vladislav Namestnikov had four points for the Jets. Connor Hellebuyck made 15 saves.
Tyler Toffoli had a goal and an assist for the Sharks. Luke Kunin and Fabian Zetterlund also scored. Mikael Granlund had two assists. Mackenzie Blackwood started and made 13 saves before being replaced by Vitek Vanecek, who made 19 saves in relief.
San Jose got into penalty trouble again and gave up four powerplay goals to Winnipeg. After taking seven minor penalties against the Chicago Blackhawks last night, San Jose had another seven penalties tonight.
Josh Morrissey scored his first goal of the season 1:59 into the first period to start the Jets onslaught.
Ehlers scored his first goal on the powerplay on a great pass from Gabe Vilardi.
Toffoli scored in his third straight game and fourth of the last five to get the Sharks on the board.
Ehlers got his second of the game with a terrific snap-shot that beat Blackwood over his blocker.
Neal Pionk scored his first goal of the season to wrap up the crazy first-period scoring.
Blackwood's night ended in the second period with a goal from Kyle Connor, his third of the season.
Luke Kunin scored his first goal of the season on a great shot from the slot that beat the goalie five-hole.
Perfetti scored the Jets' third powerplay goal with a sweet toe drag and shot.
Zetterlund answered right back to keep the Sharks within shouting distance.
Perfetti scored his second of the game with a one-timer from the wing.
