The City of Prescott Solid Waste division is holding its annual bulk item trash collection event from August 19th through October 4th, 2024. This event is exclusively for City of Prescott residential trash customers. Our crews will visit each neighborhood one time only to pick up the large household items that cannot fit in the regular containers. Items may include mattresses, furniture, bikes, yard debris and more.
Bullhead City announces open soccer, softball fields
BULLHEAD CITY –The City of Bullhead City is excitedly announcing the launch of open fields at Rotary Park and Ken Fovargue Park. As of July 16, a section of Soccer fields at Rotary Park, located at 2315 Balboa Dr, and a softball field at Ken Fovargue Park, located at 2255 Trane Rd, will be open to the public every Tuesday and Thursday night from sunset to 10 p.m. The open fields will provide a designated space and time for families and individuals without team or league affiliation to enjoy the fields.

The Park Fire had burned more than 350,000 acres (141,640 hectares) about 90 miles (144 km) north of the state capital city of Sacramento as of Saturday evening, according to the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection, or Cal Fire.
