How you can earn cash by taking a trip to SLO this summer

People who visit San Luis Obispo this summer have the opportunity to get cash for their stay.

Visitors are offered $100 through the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce for staying at least two midweek nights (Sunday through Thursday) at select hotels.

The chamber is bringing back the deal to encourage weekday stays in the city.

To be eligible, guests must have booked their trip on or after July 1, 2024. Their stay must also fall between July 1 and Aug. 31, 2024.

To claim the $100, visitors must qualify their stay by forwarding their booking confirmation email to info@visitslo.com. The chamber reports this needs to be done before arrival as same-day reservations and emails do not qualify.

If approved, visitors will receive a confirmation email.

After checking in at their hotel, guests should bring this confirmation email to the San Luis Obispo Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center located at 895 Monterey Street.

In addition to the confirmation email, the chamber reports travelers must also bring lodging confirmation showing proof of booking and travel dates, as well as their hotel room key.

The Chamber is also giving $2,000 toward a hotel stay to one randomly selected participant.

Each midweek night booked during the MidWeekend promotion serves as an entry into the drawing.
