FIRST ALERT FORECAST – Monsoon stays active!
TUCSON, Ariz. (13 News) - Southern Arizona is settling into an active mid-July Monsoon pattern this week with daily scattered storms, some of which can pack a punch! Strong winds and heavy rainfall remain storm threats throughout the week with high temperatures in Tucson topping out 4° to 7° above normal. Heading into the weekend, high pressure will shift westward and strengthen, giving us a northeasterly flow. This will increase our chance of seeing storms fire up off the higher terrain and Mogollon Rim, before pushing into the lower deserts.
