Home builder Tri Pointe Homes Arizona  has broken ground on a 663 new homesite master-planned community in San Tan Valley.

The community, Soleo, will be built on 252 and is set to open in 2025.

“Our groundbreaking at Soleo continues Tri Pointe’s long-held commitment to the growth of the East Valley,” Tri Pointe Homes Arizona Division President James Attwood stated in a press release. “San Tan Valley was recently named one of the top 10 places in the U.S. with most population growth, rising in population by 26.5% between 2017 to 2022.”

Those figures are from a 2023 report by the financial investment firm SmartAsset.com

The 663 new homes planned by Tri Pointe are part of Phase 1 at Soleo, which is expected to eventually have a total of 1,435 homes when the entire community is completed.

Soleo is being built near major transportation routes such as Ironwood Road, Loop 202, and the new State Route 24 connection.

Tri Pointe plans to offer four  product lines at Soleo with homes ranging from approximately 2,050 square feet to 3,970 square feet. It is expected to feature a pavilion centered on an event lawn, swimming pool, a 2-acre lake for kayaking, sports field, and basketball courts. Other community amenities will include scenic outlooks, orchards, 14 parks and an integrated fitness loop, the release continued.

“Our homes at Soleo are designed to perfectly blend modern amenities and sustainable home designs to give future residents the best of San Tan Valley living,” Attwood stated. “This is a burgeoning and vibrant part of the Phoenix metro and we’re proud to play a role in the greater community’s development.”

Tri Pointe Homes operates in 12 states and the District of Columbia. It was established more than 30 years ago under the name Maracay.
