Mankato, MN (KROC-AM News)- A teenage boy was airlifted to Rochester following a stabbing at a southern Minnesota apartment complex. A news release issued by the Mankato Department of Public Safety says officers were dispatched to the report of the boy being stabbed in the abdomen shortly before 1:00 Friday morning.

Rotochopper and National AEM Event Highlights Dedication to Manufacturing
Rotochopper welcomed the AEM Manufacturing Express to their facility in St. Martin, Minnesota on Thursday, July 11th. AEM, the Association of Equipment Manufacturers, is an organization that Rotochopper has proudly been a member of for 20 years. This interactive tour began in early July and aims to visit 80 AEM member companies across 20 states in the Midwest, Southeast, and Mid-Atlantic regions. AEM’s initiative is to highlight the contributions of the 2.3 million men and women in the equipment manufacturing industry and to emphasize the critical role this sector plays in building, powering, and feeding the world. Rotochopper was honored to be one of the selected stops during the tour’s time in Minnesota.

Gov. Walz encourages applications to three programs for new farmers
(Pine Island, MN)--Gov. Tim Walz wants new farmers to take advantage of three state programs to help them get started in agriculture. The governor was in Pine Island this week to talk about the need to get more young people interested in farming. Walz said the state will begin accepting applications for the beginning farmer loan program, the down payment assistance program and the beginning farmer tax credit on August 1st.
