Pinstripes takes another step at St. Johns Town Center
St. Johns Town Center is taking steps to demolish a building to make way for Pinstripes, a dining and entertainment venue combining bistro, bowling, bocce and private event space. Pinstripes wants to build at the site of the closed West Elm furniture store building along Buckhead Branch Drive near Nordstrom.
New owners moving Gate Precast headquarters Downtown
Gate Precast will maintain its name for now but move its headquarters from San Jose to Downtown as new owners take over, the company said July 21. The company will move to 245 Riverside Ave. in the Brooklyn area of Downtown from 9540 San Jose Blvd., where former owner Gate Petroleum Co. is based in the Beauclerc area of Mandarin.

Former Jaguars defensive end Marcus Stroud has plans to open a new restaurant downtown called Baby Got Brunch. The 5,000-square-foot restaurant will be located on the ground floor of the Residences at City Place condominiums.
