SANDERSVILLE, Ga. (WJBF) – Set to be the America’s longest paved bike trail, the Georgia Hi-Lo trail will break ground on the first model mile of the 211-mile path in an event on July 27 in Sandersville, Ga.

The groundbreaking is scheduled for 11 a.m. in the Forest Grove Preserve located at 1200 Bartow Road. This groundbreaking is Phase 1 of the Washington County Model Project.
