Sandoval County Fire Rescue assists with Ruidoso fires
As the South Fork and Salt fires continue to burn near Ruidoso, Sandoval County Fire Rescue has sent a truck and two firefighters to help stop the destruction. The South Fork Fire has burned more than 16,000 acres and damaged about 1,400 buildings. Two people have died from the fire, according to New Mexico State Police.
