The two-car crash occurred Monday evening. A 6-year-old boy was in critical condition Monday night after being ejected from his mother’s car during a collision in Carlisle. At about 7:30 p.m., local police received several 911 calls regarding the crash. A witness reported seeing a vehicle traveling at a high speed at the intersection of North Road and Rutland Street moments before hearing the crash, according to a statement from Carlisle police.

Someone bought a $1 million lottery ticket from a Cumberland Farms gas station in Massachusetts and came forward on Monday to claim their prize. Keene SwampBats Hold Down Westerners
The Keene SwampBats left 20 runners on base, but scored three times late in a 5-2 win at the Danbury Westerners on Saturday. In the bottom of the first, the Westerners hit a single to right with a runner on first, and as the throw went to third, shortstop Austin Hawke (Wake Forest) cut it off and threw behind the runner at first to get a huge out and help Nick Timpanelli (Charleston Southern) through the frame. The SwampBats loaded the bases with one out in the second on singles from Brett House (Mississippi State) and Andrew Wiggins (Indiana), and a walk from Hawke. The next two hitters were retired to keep the game scoreless. Danbury had a runner at third and no one out in the bottom half, but Timpanelli got a strikeout, a foulout, and a flyout to get out of it. In the next inning, Danbury had a one out infield single, a walk, and then an RBI single to take a 1-0 lead.
Breeze Airways is coming to Portsmouth Airport at Pease this fall
Travelers can get to Florida aboard the low-cost carrier. Breeze Airways will service a second Granite State airport beginning this fall, the airline announced on Wednesday. The low-cost carrier, which launched three years ago, will begin flying at Portsmouth International Airport at Pease in October. Breeze made its New Hampshire debut in June at Manchester-Boston Regional Airport, with flights to Orlando and Charleston, S.C.
