NH hosting fire suppression foam collection events
CONCORD, N.H.(WCAX) - New Hampshire-area fire departments are taking part in an effort to dispose of firefighting foam that contains so-called forever chemicals. A collection event was held in Concord Tuesday afternoon to help local departments dispose of fire-suppressing foam containing PFAS. New Hampshire is partnering with with the company Revive Environmental Technology, which offers a new way to dispose of the chemicals rather than throwing them away or burning them.
