    Woman arrested for burning down army surplus store in Sandpoint

    SANDPOINT, Idaho -- A woman was arrested on Tuesday for allegedly starting the fire that burned down an army surplus store in Sandpoint in July, according to Sandpoint Police Department.

    50-year-old Jennifer S. Meyer from Sandpoint was arrested by Sandpoint Police on July 16.

    She was charged with first-degree arson and will make her first court appearance on July 17.

    Army Surplus 1 near Oak Street and 5th Avenue burned down on July 4 after fire was set to the store's outer wall.

    Police are still investigating Meyer's motive for starting the fire.
